A 2-year-old was fatally shot inside a Pullman home Sunday afternoon, and a 31-year-old man was arrested, Chicago police said.
Jamonte Shaw was at the home around 12:40 p.m. in the 900 block of East 104th Street when he shot himself in the head.
Jamonte, who lived in the same block, was taken in critical condition to Comer Children’s Hospital but he was pronounced dead at 1:31 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
No charges have been announced for the man, 31, who was arrested in connection to the shooting, police said.
