Woman, 2 teens wounded in Chicago Lawn shooting

A woman and two teenagers were wounded in a shooting Saturday night in Chicago Lawn, according to Chicago police.

A 37-year-old woman, a 17-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old boy were standing outside along the 7100 block of South Campbell Avenue at about 6:58 p.m. when two men fired multiple gunshots at them.

The adult woman suffered gunshot wounds to her head, right hand, and left wrist, police said.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

The 15-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his neck and a graze wound to his chest, police said.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.

The 17-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to her right knee and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, according to police.

The unidentified shooters were last seen in a light-colored sedan, police said.

Area 1 detectives are investigating.
